Any R System images (stills or movies) can be posted. If you would like to say something about the subject, settings, or processing, that will be very welcome.

Remember, you don't have to only post things you took this month - sometimes people don't get around to processing/ editing images straight after shooting. (Think of it more as an ‘images I’d like to post here this month’ thing). Images taken with non-R System lenses are also very welcome as this adds to the interest.

Images posted on this thread will also be available to view in the dedicated Monthly R System Images Gallery, which can be found Here.

Commenting on people’s posts is encouraged, as it keeps everyone interested and coming back. (Please aim to be considerate, thoughtful and constructive).

We aim to provide feedback - but note we will be away for part of May (and are busy with ‘life stuff’). The lack of a comment from us is not a sign of disfavour!

Finally, please post in accordance with the RF Shooters Community Guidelines.

The moment you enter Portmeirion you become spellbound - entranced by it's quirky architectural charm and the ghosts of an intriguing cult allegory.

Of course, the trick is being able to leave again...

Well, the inverted flying (or falling?) technique isn't something you see everyday.

It's quite a sight though, which certainly makes for an attention grabbing image.

Being Manitobans one thing we miss. We had a cottage in the Boreal forest. Every spring on the drive up there was short section which was just covered with crocuses. We would have to pull over for that every spring.

Hi Jack,

Cheers - much appreciated!

We were very pleased with the star bursts and the detail/ colours held up well to our random camera settings approach.

Portmeirion is certainly a very special place and we always enjoy our time there - you could spend hours people watching (it fills up rapidly each day with excited photographers, curious tourists and, of course, fans of 'The Prisoner'). Great food and drink (and ice cream) too!

Last week we went to the James Webb Wildlife Center in Garnett, South Carolina. Having moved from Central Texas two years ago, we are still trying to discover new places to go birding. Although photography was not my primary focus on this trip, as it was more of a scouting visit, here are a few that I am quite happy with.
