Nice shot Steve. I should have made the effort to shoot it myself. I don't think I've taken a moon shot with my R5 yet.

I have been thinking about it for ages but cloud etc has been against me.
Ive not really had much time with the R3 yet due to my dad not being well & work.

Darn, we have an 80% chance of rain tonight!

We've been fortunate that this cold snap has also brought some nice clear weather for a change, it's been very dull and misty around by us for the last couple of weeks. I hope your dad is on the mend.

I have to try harder lol
I have a Christmas shoot tomorrow at a local park.kids fun run .santa switching on Xmas lights etc.
Unfortunately my dad has recently been diagnosed with parkinsons so I call in every day.so far he is not as bad as some .just keeping an eye on him

I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. It's a horrid disease, but there has been a lot of research that keeping active and doing things like Yoga and light weight lifting help slow the disease progress, hopefully he will stay healthy for a long while.

Sadly, my brother-in-law has been diagnosed with the same affliction. Proper treatment and PT will help to slow the symptoms and improve lifestyle and mobility. And the sooner that course of action is undertaken the better. I just wish my brother-in-law listened to us several years ago and followed that advice.

A good lens for what it does, with it's drawbacks
I have had this lens since it came out and it is my lightweight go to lens for walking around in the city and using my infrared-converted camera...
