Been lazy recently, don't use my studio space too often. But sometimes when they call me, have to get my setup back up.
She'll be competing at the Mrs Universe competition later this year in Korea.
My RF 10-20mm finally shipped, so time to really sell this one. Great condition, lenses are perfect. Some minor scuffs on the body.
Aiming to get $1200 for this OBO. Ship from Seattle WA, can meet locally here. If needed, can make video call to show the lens and answer any...
Show of hands, who's planning to buy one and what's your reason over other great bodies like R3 or basically any other RF body?
Or are you still waiting to hear the price before deciding?
For me, I'm fairly certain I'll get one since I shoot lot of sports and my current combo R5+1DX(1) would...
Yesterday shot sports, I did R5 with JPEG and in-body NR all day. My helper had 1DX on RAW.
It's really striking how much better R5 is in same conditions.
R5:
1DX:
But LR AI NR is amazing. Same 1DX pic after NR:
Btw should we soon add new section in the gear area for R1?
On the rumored specs at Canonrumors, two items that would make me very happy:
-very fast read-out (so fast they don't include mechanical shutter) (hopefully include user configurable variable frame rate though)
-one second...
My friend pinged me to come take pics of her daughter playing volleyball. I thought sure, nice to catch up with her and maybe snap couple pics of the game too.
The game was early (for me) on Saturday at 2:30pm :) So wake up, grab my gear and rush out the door. Quickly checking the camera bag, I...
Shot show last weekend. While lighting was generally good, there were spots with several stop higher or lower, made it interesting to get proper exposure. Also WB changed on the stage...
This weekend shot sports event at usual darkness gyms. On R5 I shot jpeg with built-in NR, for 1DX I had raw. Here's comparison with the LR AI NR with default settings. Amazing how much it cleans the image, no need for Topaz anymore.
Just finished shooting Fashion in Flight show. Runway lights were pretty bad but R5 tracking is still awesome. Even when cropping super tight you can see it's nailing the AF well with sharp eyes. Full image slight crop, second image is same but heavy crop.
Shot at interesting location, bright sunlight coming through window and half the window panels were colored.
Also quite often I don't get too many faces, so there's some interesting ones (I think...)
Not sure if this should be sports or self-portraits. Had fun trying out real sword cutting for the first time.
Also shot my friend and intentionally mis-focused:
Friend asked to shoot their family portrait at local sunflower field. One time moving to different spot, she was walking in front of me and I was like "why I'm not capturing this!" and did quick shoot from the hip. Came out to be one my favorite from that shoot.
