Hi Frank,
I enjoyed all the points you raised and you have my sympathy in trying to judge anyones images, as photography is very individual and to expect someone to look at your images and think they can see what you had in mind is really very difficult.
However, I do stand by my original point...
Couldn’t agree more.
When you can write code and design fantastic cameras but can’t simply print instructions someone needs firing. Glad you got it sorted and sorry for joshing.
Being able to save settings would certainly help.
Have a great Thanksgiving and try not to let it spoil your experience with the R7. It’s not the camera’s fault.
Happy holiday
It sounds totally c—p Jake.
They must be taking a lead from Sony !!
This is a really stupid thought but maybe try the Canon.co.uk website instead as I guess you are using the US link ?
Sounds crazy but not heard of anyone on this side of the pond having issues
Are you perhaps moving the file to a folder within the directory and not simply putting it in the root dir alongside the folders ?
Just a thought !
I tried twice on my laptop before I borrowed a friends MacBook, copied the Mac file from Canon website and bingo.
Thanks Barry
I really like your view, very much the same myself.
It’s a topic that really divides people, no right or wrong way as photography is very much an individuals opinion.
Thanks for starting this topic off.
I read many articles on post processing and it amazes me how far we have come from the “good old days” when we chucked in a roll of 36 shot 200 iso film either colour or Black & White and made as many decisions as we could before clicking the shutter button.
It is quite the topic of conversation...
Having re-downloaded the Canon app onto iPhone, I had to ask myself why Canon can’t produce simple software and improve this app.
The camera software and UI is so smooth and always works, so why not get the same software team to write software for the app?
I also shoot with an Insta 360 X3 and...
Tony, cool photo. I have spent many nights in the Temple bar myself (don’t remember some though).
The colours are great and I love the movement you captured.
