Mostly been seeing wildlife in r7 photos, here is a sporting event

canon r7, tamron 18-400 @400mm, iso 160, f/6.3, 1/2000 sec. (shutter priority)

(image looks much better cropped, but uploaded the entire image all the same).

Nice picture!

Jst got my R7 and having a lot of trouble focusing with the Tamron 18-400 (fw version 2.0). Very very slow and hard time locking (camera fw 1.1.0 and canon ef adapter with no ring). Do you have a similar setup? Any trouble focusing? Was hoping to use it for wildlife photography but can't really... thx in advance!

I have had this lens since it came out and it is my lightweight go to lens for walking around in the city and using my infrared-converted camera...
