I just got back from a 2-week photo trip to Costa Rica, so I thought maybe I'd just make one thread and post the bird images in here as I go.
First off is a Prong-Billed Barbet

Thank you! Under normal conditions, I seem to have that problem as well. The minute I raise the camera, they look the other way!

A few more. The first two are green-crowned brilliant hummingbirds. The third is a green hermit hummingbird and the big guy is a keel-billed toucan.
