Just ordered myself one more, I'm curious how many lenses people usually have? One of my problem is that I shoot lot of subjects so I tend to need various lenses too. I have some number of cheap ones for funsies too, plus couple old EF-S lenses I haven't used in ages. Not sure how many I actually have but around 15 lenses (RF/EF/EF-S) I think :)

3 RFs so far. The 24-105 F4 kit, 100-400 F5.6, and the 100 F2.8L Macro.
Got a Nikkor-EL enlarger lens to play with reverse-mounting for macro, but that doesn't really count. Plan on getting the RF100-500 at some point, and maybe the L version of the kit lens. That's probably it! Don't think I'd need 15 lenses! I imagine it's a different game if you're pro.

Well I'm not pro myself so I'm curious how many lenses the actual pros have :)

I just shoot plenty and need different lenses for different items. One of the "funsies" lenses I have is manual Nikon lens that fits reverse on extension tubes for crazy macro. Haven't probably used that in 5+ years, I should consider selling it.

Only 3 RFs now. The 16mm F2.8, 24-240mm F4-6.3 & 100-500 F4.5-7.1L. I like the 24-240 for its versatility on a walkabout so I can travel relatively light. I sold my EF/EF-S lenses, including an EF 100-400 L, to help fund the change.

4 RF, 5 EF including the super fun 65mm MPE which is probably the only EF lens I will never sell.

Any particular reason why you have 800 instead of 1.4x for the 100-500?

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
