Jagged text on menus and selected content

Additional problems with forum. The "selected text no background color" problem existed in the previous version of the forum software. The jagged text problem did not. I'm guessing there are different (or overlapping) CSS rules for "new thread" vs "reply to thread."

My system:

• MacOS Sequoia 15.0.1

This seems to be a bug in the forum software. Apparently it should be addressed in the next minor release. It only appears to be affecting the latest MacOS 15 and Safari 18. I've made a few changes for now that should hopefully improve the look of the menu items.
