Looking to start recording videos with my R7. There are Movie settings on the RED menu Tab 10 when in photo mode. When setting custom config (C1-C3) these are saved. However, there are also separate menus for video when in video mode. This can be saved to the C(v)1-3 configs. These do NOT appear to override the saved RED tab 10 C1-3 settings!
I read somewhere that when in photo mode just pressing the red record button on top uses the settings in the C(v)3 custom config.
I assume that when in video mode and selecting a custom mode the appropriate C(v)1-3 are used.
So when are the movie settings from the photo red tab 10 menu used?
Call me confused.
