My name’s Joe and I am an amateur that has recently found photography and according to a friend and mentor I’ve “got the bug.” Lol.

A couple of shots from this summer. The Heron and the moon were taken with my RP. The Osprey with my brand new R5. Thanks for the admit to the group!

Welcome Joe and thanks for joining up here and introducing yourself. It's great when you find something that you love doing! Congrats on the new R5 as well, how do you find it compared to your RP?

i really love my RP. My first real camera. I spent the summer learning on it and saw myself gradually improving. A fun experience. At time’s frustrating due to both my lack of skills and the models capabilities.
Which drew me to the R5. I’m only less than a week in with my new snapper but the increase in capability on several fronts is kind of intoxicating.
Glad to be here and look forward to my further interactions with the group!
