What a great image. How did you do it?
17 shot Panorama stitched and edited in Lightroom.
(I am more comfortable using Lightroom for editing, but this can all be done in PS)
Imported to Photoshop
Image resized to a 3000px by 3000px (as long as it's square)
Image rotated 180°.
Filter Distortion set to Polar Coordinates.
Sky replacement.
Light editing...

Save.

Done.

Thanks Dean - you make it sound so easy - which I guess it can be if you know what you're doing. I'm nowhere near editing at your level, but you showing it's possible to create images like this is inspirational - and aspirational.

More questions - but no need to answer if you've had enough! I get the replacement sky bit, but when you say a "17 shot panorama" - 17 shots of what? And how do they finish up in a circle? I might just have answered this by looking on line - is this what Filter Distortion set to Polar Co-ordinates does?

(Fyi - I'll be off-app for a while as we're flying to Argentina tomorrow so may not read or respond to anything for some time.)

Many thanks again for posting the image and responding to questions.

Be safe my friend.

17 individual shots into one 360° photo.

This can be done with any scenic panoramic shot you take or find on the Internet (as long as it's creative commons, public domain and such)

If you want to give it a try find a photo where the horizon in equal of the left and right side. That is where the seam will be. The closer they match the better the photo.
