Venus Optics has announced the Laowa 11mm f/4.5 FF RL manual focus lens that has already been available in other mounts for some time will now be getting a Canon RF Mount version.
The Laowa 11mm F4.5 FF RL is an extremely compact rectilinear (RL) wide-angle lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras.
The lens features a 126° angle of view with a 19cm minimum focus distance. It measures just 6.3cm (2.5 inches) long and weighs 254g (8.9oz), and there’s a 62mm filter thread.
The lens also includes 2 aspherical elements and 3 extra-low dispersion elements to help with sharpness, suppress chromatic aberrations and keep distortion to the minimum. The 5-bladed aperture is able to create clean and appealing 10-point sunstars.
