Canon R7 + R10 + RF-S Lenses Officially Announced

Canon has officially announced the new EOS R7 and R10 APS-C mirrorless cameras, along with two new RF-S kit lenses.

The EOS R10 will be available, body-only, for a recommended selling price of $979. Kit options include a bundle with the compact, collapsible 18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM for $1099 or with the 18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM for around $1379.

RF-S 18–45mm F4.5–6.3

The RF-S 18–45mm F4.5–6.3 IS STM lens is constructed of seven elements in seven groups.

The lens features optical image stabilization and is CIPA-rated for seven stops of compensation.

The minimum focus distance is 20cm (7.9″) and there’s a 49mm front filter thread. Canon’s stepping motor technology is used to drive its autofocus system.

The lens measures 69mm (2.7″) in diameter by 44.3mm (1.8″) long and weighs in at just 130g (4.6oz).
