Canon R3 Overview
The Canon EOS R3 is a pro mirrorless camera with 30 fps, eye control and advanced AF that was officially announced on September 14, 2021.
This 24MP Stacked CMOS Dual Pixel AF sensor enables shooting at up to 30 frames per second, with no viewfinder blackout and a flash sync speed of 1/180 sec. In video mode you can capture up to 60 fps in either 6K Raw or oversampled 4K taken from 6K capture.
The AF system features enhanced subject recognition for people, animals and also motorsports for racing cars and bikes.
A new Eye Control AF system now lets you select an AF position by simply looking at your subject.
There are also extensive Wi-Fi functions, a new multi-function hot shoe with an electronic interface, and a whole range of other pro-focused features.
