Tero, I'm shooting an R5 with EF 300mm F2.8 II. Shooting in Servo, Face tracking, Case 4 - accel +1 (continous focus disabled), Mechanical shutter, High+. My focus point is dropping off in front of the running football player. Rather than falling off behind. Has this happened to you?

When I review a burst of images in Canon DPP, for example - frame 1 & 2 have the focus point on the players eye, then frame 3, 4 & 5 show the focus point off the face , seems strange that the point is not lagging behind the player, but in front of him.
