If you look close, the chestnut horse on the left has a marking in his blaze that mirror's the pickup rider's hat brim and outstretched right arm. I did not manipulate this image, I didn't even notice the marking until much later.
Very nice. I'm looking forward to equestrian sports photos in the near future. We have a fairly new and nicely built Equestrian park here in QueenCreek AZ and I intend to hang out there and see how the R5 performs.
I was surprised at how well the R6 did in this arena. I've done many indoor horse shows and outdoor rodeos, but this was my first indoor rodeo.
Horse shows are less of a challenge due to the slower speeds, of course, but even then, it was hard with my lesser cameras to get decent photos in the dark arenas. I did get some noise in this set of rodeo photos, but I was very happy with my first try.
I'm really looking forward to getting out this summer to some outdoor events!
