People Girl with a Top

Canon R6, EF 24-70L f/4, Canon Speedlite Flash


This is a pretty heavy crop, approx. 1 megapixel out of the original 20 MP frame. I tried upsizing it using Adobe Camera Raw Super Enhancement and Topaz Gigapixel, and decided I liked Topaz's result better (not always the case, btw).

The young lady is my Granddaughter, who models for me under the name "She-Upon-Whom-the-Sun-Rises-and-Sets."

I hope you don't mind me being critical. Would be better if the top was spinning and GD was looking at it. The picture looks very staged.

You did well with the cropping, I think you pushed it as far as it will go. Fine for a print, but its just starting to pixilate, and the focus is on the forehead towards the right and not the eye/s.

Lets see some more.

I probably pushed the cropping beyond the limits. Attached is a look at the entire frame; I think I stopped while walking towards her to take the shot. Eye AF tracking was on, but no doubt in Animal Eye mode, and DPP4 has the red active focus point indicator over the entire face, not just the eye. Thanks for looking and commenting.

You have certainly done a heavy crop. Just as well you have equipment capable of coping
