Mahalo very much. This was a difficult shot as my tripod and gimble would not support my RF100-500 completely straight up
and I had to hand shoot this. Probably would have been easier to lay flat on my back on the ground. LOL. Take care and Aloha!
Mahalo very much! This old wood pole is actually about 10' tall and used to support a bombing target. This small area of coastline that feeds many local families with abundant seafood has a sad history of US military bombing practice back in the 40's and 50's. Foreground was during blue hour...
My final image from this week's blood moon adventure here at home on Molokai. Shooting handheld nearly straight up with an RF500 was challenging as I needed to use a fast shutter speed to minimize blur and high ISO during totality. This image is 5 handheld shots stacked in PS. Aloha.
