I got both of mine on Friday 11/15.
One interesting thing I was NOT prepared for is that the power switch is the exact opposite of my R3s.
I took one of each with me to a gig over the weekend (my usual to ease into a new camera).
Far more times than I'm proud of I:
1. Picked up the asleep R1 and, noticing it was "off" while raising it to my eye to take a shot...turned it off.
2. Chatised myself for shutting off the R1, picked up the asleep R3 and,noticing it was "off" while raising it to my eye to take a shot...turned it off.
3. Lather, rinse, repeat over the course of five hours.
