Do you need a forum for us lesser photographers.

Bit scared to ask questions sometimes in serious forums.

BBF do I hold continuously shooting BIF for instance? I do not sure it’s entirely the correct method.

Or click click click with BBF button?

Yeah tried to find it in previous threads couldn’t. R6 by the way

Hold the button as you shoot unless you lose focus on the bird due to an obstruction then re-press and shoot.

Whether you use front or back button focus if you are in Servo mode you want to keep the button pressed (or half-pressed) to maintain focus on the subject. And yes, for birds in flight almost all nature you're going to want to be in Servo mode by default using One Shot only in cases where you can't get focus to stick and want to focus and reframe.

Thanks thought I was doing it correctly

I know that forums can be intimidating sometimes, but everyone is friendly here so please try not to worry too much about posting questions. You can also message me directly if you prefer, although you will probably receive a wider range of helpful answers from the group.
