I can remember my first roll of film out of the Yashica. I was so psyched…and then when the pictures came back, I was so disappointed. Everything was flat and lifeless and the focus seemed mushy…and it never seemed to get any better. I even tried slide film, reasoning that that left the mutants doing the printing out of the loop. It was a bit better, but then, showing up at a party with a slide projector was a surefire buzzkill…. (Almost as bad as showing up with a slide rule…. 
)
