Canon Asia has more information than I could find on our Canon Europe website. Of course, I could not find any definitive information on the amp output of an LP-E6NH, or other versions, to compare it to. I guess we have to assume that the previous versions could not deliver 6A and the R5MkII needs at least 6A.
So, I can imagine that my EOS R would not see any benefit from an LP-E6P over an LP-E6NH. The same will probably be true for anything except the R5MkII. But, if I have to buy new batteries in the future, I will definitely buy LP-E6Ps just in case I am gifted an R5MkII....
