  1. Yes
People make up the strangest sports. If you can think of it, then it's probably been done. Horseboarding is a sport where a horse and rider pulls someone on an off-road skateboard (like a waterskier behind a speedboat) round a slalom course as quickly as possible. Mad? Yes, but highly entertaining. It deserves to be more popular. The horses seem to be invariably ridden by female riders, and the boards by male riders. It's clear who is calling the shots and who is just hanging on for dear life.

These were shot in April but I have just got round to processing them.

You get the idea from this.

...and this

The horse riders take no prisoners, and the course becomes rutted and the ground loose as the day goes on.

We're not talking about trotting or cantering round here - this is a full gallop.

...and eventually it all goes wrong!

Like my father used to say, "Some people have more money than sense.".

Nice images that do a great job of explaining what words could not fully do justice.

A good lens for what it does, with it's drawbacks
I have had this lens since it came out and it is my lightweight go to lens for walking around in the city and using my infrared-converted camera...
