I accompanied a friend today who was photographing food and drinks for a local restaurant. I brought the R5, 24-105 f/4 and 100-500 to shoot along side him. While a fill flash would’ve helped this, I was very impressed how well the R5 and 100-500’s image stabilization worked for this handheld shot. This was processed in Lightroom, Topaz DeNoise AI and Topaz Sharpen AI.

I think you're right, bouncing the flash off the ceiling or wall would have massively helped here, especially in getting the Iso lower than 12,800

I agree. My friend had the flashes and lights as it was his shoot. I was tagging along to have some fun with my new R5. I’m just really impressed at how the R5 and 100-500 handled this.

I have the same combination and it is very impressive

A good lens for what it does, with it's drawbacks
I have had this lens since it came out and it is my lightweight go to lens for walking around in the city and using my infrared-converted camera...
