Had the good fortune of calm seas and mild weather on June 22, 2024 for a trip to Machias Seal Island with Bold Coast Charters out of Cutler, Maine. When I say the seas were calm, I mean the ocean was like glass for the entire 10 mile trip both there and back. Capt. Bob, Abbey and Levi were all amazed at the conditions. Our time in the blinds went much too fast but somehow I managed to pop off over 2200 shots. This was my second time going to the island and I would highly recommend the experience.

That Puffin portrait in the middle is wonderful!
 
All good but that second Puffin shot (portrait angle) is the money shot for me, awesome
 
Amazing shots!!! I was there years ago and this really makes me want ti make a return trip!
