Dahlia 'Pooh' originated at Swan Island Dahlias in Canby, Oregon in 1998. (About 2.8 km from my front door).

Thanks Hali. It was handheld. I was outside attempting to shoot some bees, wasps and other small critters in our garden. Since I posted this picture, you can correctly assume that I wasn't very successful in terms of bugs. :ROFLMAO:.

I had shot some at my normal macro aperture of f14, but the background was too busy. So I switched to f2.8 and took 8-10 shots, each focussed on a different part of the flower and then let Photoshop align them as layers and then blend them. It did the hard work, I only pushed the button.
