Canon R6 III R6 Mk III Crop Size

Question about the new R6 Mk III

With the new 32.5mp sensor, I'm assuming that the Mk III has a crop function like the original R6 and R6 mk II did.

What's the size of the internally 1.6x crop on the Mk III?

The R6 mk II is like 9mp, iirc, right? So the Mk III should be a good bit higher res than that.

Huh, I would have figured it would be more than just 12.4 mp. But I've gotten some decent pics with the mk II internal crop also.

One of the better crops with my R6II which I sold for the R6III. I wasn't birding but came across these while shooting urban stuff. I'd never normally stop this much anyway.

I hate this time of year when Canon releases new cameras. I don't like testing in really cold or dark overcast so I have not really got out there with the R6III yet.

I prefer to crop in post. Got this with the R6II and tried out LrC Super Resolution. Not a wall mount and not sure how much I'll use it but in a pinch.
