There are quite a few public art installations in Providence. This one, Morphous by Lionel Smit, is in Kennedy Plaza. The building behind is the Federal Building and U. S. Courthouse. This is another example of getting lucky with the "decisive moment" as a pigeon spreads its wings to help me out! (Full disclosure: There was a minivan creating a distraction, and I decided to remove it.)
