shot at Leonabelle Birding Center, Port Aransas Tx. When I was at Leonabelle Birding center I got to see a pair of the centers more reclusive birds. A pair of Least Bitterns flew around me then one landed in the bushes, the other in the reeds.

This image would not have been possible with my older R5, as the R5 Mk II can buffer 30 seconds of images. The system continually overwrites the buffer with new images. The result is, I was able to get 3 solid shots of the Bittern as it took off. Normally I would have missed the image as I hit the shutter when I saw movement.

I’ve finally gotten the focus settings dialed in and was able to get three solid frames.
