A couple of bright daylight R7 + Rf24mm 1.8 landscape photos in Idaho Falls, ID

These two photos were lightly processed with Lightroom and photoshop using CRaw files. I thought the combo performed relatively well considering the harsh lighting at the time. First view of Idaho Falls. Worth the stop. I experimented with various aperatures. F8 was the best which was no surprise, however f11 was acceptable but did show obvious diffraction compared to f8.

I just picked up the RF 24mm f/1.8 and it is my only Prime. I am excited to see what I can accomplish.

I just picked up one of those refurbished R6’s for 1299. Not a single shutter click. I think they must have a bunch they need to get rid of! Anyway got to use my 24mm 1.8 on it today and it is really nice. Quite frankly I like it more than Any lens I’ve ever owned, other than my 100-400 ii. Sharp, inexpensive, light. Taking it to New York next week to give it a good work out at the Mets , Yankees, and Red Sox stadiums. Hope you will be happy with yours. By the way I see we lI’ve about 30miles apart!
