Black Tail Deer - It was raining and I was a little bummed out that I couldn't go out and take pictures. Then this shows up outside of my home office. All I had to do was open the window and take the shot. What a blessing! Thank you Lord!

Unfortunately, I had my camera mode set to C2 (my custom settings for birds in flight) and it was in Auto ISO so in my excitement I just shot away at high ISO. I really didn't realize it until I took a look in LR. However, LR did a great job cleaning up the noise.

It's better to push the technical boundaries than miss the moment. All things considered, that is a great shot.

That really is a very nice shot! It's wonderful when you're presented with such opportune moments to capture such a beautiful moment and subject.

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
