When I post my photographs how do I add the camera metadata for the pic? Is it included within the jpeg, or do I need to write it in?

Thanks

It will be embedded in the jpeg unless it’s been stripped out whilst editing or saving. Normally when you save an image there is an option to include the meta/exif data.

What software are you using? Here are the export dialog boxes from DxO Photolab, Canon DPP, and the metadata viewer from Adobe Bridge. Each of these programs let me choose what to export. I also have the Luminar Neo editor, and as far as I can tell it always includes whatever metadata is in the image file.

Haven't decided on software yet, but will either let CameraConnect let the camera load directly to my Macbook or I'll just transfer via card reader.
