The RF 24-105 f/4.0 is so much better than the EF versions, but I still am not happy with the sharpness in the corners, It's darn good in the center.
I am getting a RF 24-70 f/2.8 which I understand is dramatically better, and will keep the 24-105 as a walkabout.

I've been impressed with the 24-105, and your shot explains why. I've also cropped and blown-up small sections to test the lens performance and have been pleasantly surprised with the results. If the image doesn't look good it's clearly me and not the equipment.

The clarity of the R5 did blow me away compared to the 5D Mkiii I had - the zoom in to see detail (bugs etc) that you didn’t notice with the naked eye
