It's been cold and wet in SW Florida so my morning sojourns to see these little rascals have only shown a few brave souls. Love to shoot them every time I'm visiting my Mom.

Yes - only part where I know they are found. My Mom is in North Fort Myers and these are less than 2 miles from her place, so I love being able to do a run to the store for her first thing in the morning and shooting these on the way. She never knew about them, and neither did I until I was photographing a pair of local eagles and someone there asked if I had shot the Burrowing Owls. My wife loves owls so we went looking and managed to only find one pair, and these were about 15 minutes from Mom. Two years later we're down and decide to take a ride through a neighborhood and they were everywhere.

I’m on the east coast of FL and been wanting to come over to the west coast to shoot these, hopefully this spring.
