I pre-ordered mine immediately when they showed up on the website. The #2 photo specialist here in .nl received slightly more than 600 R8 kits which wasn't enough for their pre-orders by a long shot. A smaller camera store received one more R8 than their number of pre-orders, on the 18th they showed to have a single unit in stock
