I moved from the 7D1 to the RP and I found the RP to be better in pretty much every way, except battery life. I did need the EG-E1 for larger lenses.Now that I have both the R8 and R5, I really notice how much Canon improved things in 2.5 years. The R5 now feels slow and clunky!
