Out playing with the extension tubes and 50mm, I found this chap stuck in a web.

Good eye. Beautiful image.

Thank you, I was pretty pleased when I spotted it, obviously looked nothing like the processed image, but it was caught in a web just blowing in the wind in my garden.

extension tubes and 50mm
Out of curiosity, what size tube(s) did you use? I have an 11mm and 18mm that I like using with the 15-35mm for extreme close ups.

Adam Gibbs posted recently on YouTube regarding close-up filters and extension tubes. I once had the cheap screw-on filters for my SLR, fun to play with but nothing epic came of it.

I got these ones : Meike MK-RF-AF1 13mm + 18mm - so not that different, both were on and seemed to work well enough.
