ET-83II smaller replacement

Does anyone know of a hood to replace the ET-83-II for the EF70-200 L f2.8 that is small? I bought the replacement from JJC but it's huge. I need something that does not take too much space in my back pack.

Is the hood size not dependent on the angle of coverage, from widest to narrowest, to minimize the glare? I used to have a similar EF lens with a large hood that reverse mounted on the lens. Does this do the same? Or, am I missing the entire point of the question?

When you reverse it and put it in the lens it’s really bulky because the angle of the hood. I’m looking for something with less angle. I found one for my EF100-400 but I can’t find it for the EF70-200.
