Captured a bonding moment between father and son. The father was teaching his son to ocean fish from the beach. It was great to see the son’s excitement and the father’s patience. No smartphones, no distractions, just a father and son having a great experience. Shortly after this photo, they pulled in a 4-5’ shark. The father was showed his experience as he calmly removed the hook from the shark and returned it to the water.

The storm to the north really split the sky, with sunrise to the south and the storm taking over more of the sky as the minutes of sunrise passed. Cocoa Beach, FL. Sept 3, 2022, 7:03am

You nailed it! Good composition, exposure and a really nice balance between the wet sand, water and sky and the storm and sunrise. And you couldn't have done any better if you had tried to post the 2, the angle of the rod is perfect and leads you eye towards the sunrise.

I always remind myself "I'll never know what shots I missed if I'm not out at sunrise to see what's there". Same for sunset!

Wow Chris. I’m flattered by your thoughtful comments. Thank you so much for that feedback. I really appreciate it.

I have the same feelings when it comes to sunrises. Everyone is different and I always wonder what I’m missing when I’m not there.
