I wonder if you had chose a black background it the popping colors would accent the popping texture you are looking for?

I have heard and seen Alan's article in ICM magazine! It was great. I should go and dig it it up to read it again. thank you for the reminder.


I didn't try it with black, it's a great idea, I will have to do it before the blooms all go over (which means tonight!) Thanks for the idea!

A few years ago I tried just a simple ICM with a vase of flowers but I chose a Black background as I thought it colors would standout.

I don't think my ICM attempt worked out.

I don’t think that’s a bad attempt at all!! ICM is all in the abstraction and it works well for me
