Hello all. I've sold my well used Canon 7 D mk2 and some lenses to help fund the R5 and RF24-105 that I'm eagerly waiting delivery of. I'm really pleased to have found RFShooters and am excited to see all the members' wonderful photos -very encouraging. My main interest for the last few years has been bird photography, and lately botanical subjects. No doubt I will be coming to the site asking for help and tips as I familiarise myself with the new gear, and perhaps might be able to contribute something too in the future.

Welcome and thank you for joining up here John. Lovely shots too! I do love the kingfishers. One dived just a few meters in front of me last week but unfortunately I missed it as I was busy focussing on a cormorant instead! Any questions about the site please don't hesitate to ask.
