Hi all! I'm Michelle from central NY (its ok if you call me Crysania or Crys - sounds like "Chris" though lol). I'm fairly new to Canon, but not new to photography. I jumped ship after 12 years of using Sony cameras to the Canon r6ii (and r8 as a backup) this past July. My photographic subject is dogs (and dogs and more dogs!) and the professional part of my shooting is dog sports. I shoot mostly agility, but also some FastCAT (basically a 100-yard dash for dogs as they chase a lure on a low zip line) and whatever other sports people want me to shoot.
My main lenses are the RF 70-200mm f/2.8 and EF 300mm f/2.8 II but I also have the 50mm f1/8 and 16mm f/2.8 just for fun stuff.
A couple of my professional photos. I shoot indoor agility. These are taken on the 300mm f/2/8 II at 1/2000 f/2.8 and ISO 40,000 (yes, you read that right!). These are SOOC JPGs.
The non-professional side of my shooting are my own dogs and dogs for a local rescue. This is my boy, Ben. Taken with the RF 70-200mm f/2.8 at 1/2000 f/2.8 ISO 640
And my girl Lea, taken with the 300mm f/2.8 II 1/2000 f/2.8 ISO 1000
And one of the recent rescue dogs I photographed. 1/2000 f/2.8 ISO 500
