Hi all

I have been a Canon user for 40 years !! A1 (the film one). 300D, 450D, 50D and I have had a 5D3 for the last 9 years but wanted to move to the R5, as others have mentioned the lack of getting an EF/RF adapter, I will move to RF lenses when something I want comes out as I have a lot of EF glass it will only be replaced as RF lenses become available.

A landscape photographer, who has dabbled in most forms of photography over the years but is looking forward to the R5 with maco and animal photography.

Welcome Nick and thank you for joining up here and introducing yourself. 40 years is definitely a good commitment to one brand! If you have any questions about this site please don't hesitate to ask. Have a nice weekend too! :)

Welcome along fellow Nick :) I too have a 450D and it is like night and day between it and my R6. Looking forward to seeing some wildlife shots with your R5.

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
