She was on the garden fence quite low down but not easy to reach - but I instructed her to jump into the planter which has a few flowers in it (an ice plant (coppery mesemb?)).

She walked around on this flower for a short while though she again wasn't being particularly helpful, but I got a couple at least :)

When I was a kid, I used to keep those jumpers as pets. Fun to watch them fight each other.
 
They can be bought as pets nowadays, though those are more exotic tha our British species.
