Here is a second image from the encounter we had a few days ago with the juvenile bald eagle near our Corning NY home. It was certainly looking for prey, but we didn’t see any sign of it. I was about 40 yards away using our car as a blind and shot with a total of 700 mm on a full frame camera and cropped to about 70% of original.
