  1. Yes
Long time LR and PS user, but photography phocused (hehe). My issue is just lately, the flag and reject flags are no longer visible AND more importantly, the right click on the image and select EDIT IN PHOTOSHOP is no longer active....why? It's greyed out and I've no idea why.

My workaround at this point is to edit as far as possible in LR, export as JPG, then re-ingest to PS to final edit before re-saving.....which is ludicrous. It's literally NEVER done this before.

Hi Edward,

Sorry to hear of your tech woes. I've read elsewhere of people suffering a 'broken link' between LrC and PS (though I've not seen a definitive cause - or fix).

If you're referring to Lightroom Classic 'LrC' (which is what I use), I'd suggest trying the following -

1. Check everything is looking OK in LrC [Preferences]-[External Editing].

2. Make sure LrC and PS are both the latest versions.

3. Hard re-boot your Mac/ PC. Try starting PS before you start LrC.

4. Try rolling back/ forward LrC versions using Creative Cloud 'Other versions'. (IF prompted, opt to keep any existing settings/ preferences!).

5. Ditto with PS. (IF prompted, opt to keep any existing settings/ preferences!).

6. Search/ contact Adobe Forums/ Support.

If you find out what the actual issue is (and the fix!), please let us know (it may help someone else in the future).

Good luck... :)

Phil

I had the same problem, but to be clear, I use Lightroom Classic (LrC) and not Lightroom. I don't know which you use.

To correct the problem, using the Creative Cloud App, uninstall Photoshop making sure that you keep all of your preferences when asked. Then, reinstall Photoshop.

If that doesn't correct the problem, uninstall both LrC and Photoshop (saving preferences of course) then reinstall Lightroom first and then Photoshop. The order is extremely important....LrC then Photoshop.

Same issue for me. Uninstall and reinstall cleared up everything.

Thanks for the replies, I started on PKMs recommendations and Step 3, a hard re-boot fixed things up. I obviously jumped the gun but was freaking out as I had client photos on the line.
