From the Singapore Flyer which is similar to the London Eye or Vegas High Roller. So through some type of thick glass. Five day power road trip and I had a hard time deciding on what gear to bring. With the girls I knew we would not have to the time to really get into serious shooting. My buddy just got a new Sony P&S. I decided to bring my Canon G11 which I got for shooting my first wedding. I just looked it up. Released in 2009 and I have never used it before. I had a hard time with it. Too small for me. I was not motivated to put much work onto this shot but at least I was there.

We did go to Raffles Hotel - The Long Bar where the Singapore Sling was invented. The bar tender made up fancy fruit drinks for the ladies and slipped in alcohol. That was a time when women were not permitted to drink alcohol in public. At least that is what they told us. Only $41 CDN. 3 months worth of the Adobe Plan. I only had one but it was worth it. I did think about a second one but came to my senses. It did taste pretty good.

I'll go through my stuff and find a few more to post.

Wow, any time I’ve had $41 worth of booze it left me feeling even more regret than donating money to Adobe.

(Nice shot, BTW and your idea of “P&S” must be way different than mine.)

I looked it up at Canon and it is in the Point and Shoot category. Others call it Compact.

Forgot to mention I have never regretted using the Adobe Plan. Zenfolio was costing more a year than the plan. For the last 6 years I've have had access for up to 5 personal websites which are included and the multiple apps the plan offers. All that costs less than Zenfolio did. With the new recent NR advancements I'm now keeping another $100 + in my pocket every year. The plan has not gone up in price since 2018. Everything else has.

That's a great image, especially through the glass. BTW did you see that Camera Raw now has a reflection removal tool in it (it's not in LR or LRCC yet) it will be fun to see how that works, not that this image needed it!

Yes I seen it but have not tried it yet. Thanks. SS was a little slow. I have shot through the glass of the London Eye and was happier with the results with my big bodies. I noticed the 10mp more noisy file.
