First third party RF AF lens. I assume it doesn’t violate Canons patents is why it can be released.
 
Maybe they just made use of the old EF algorithm? Literally putting a built in EF adaptor into the lens?
 
Wouldn’t that be a violation as well?
Umm, I really have no idea how deep the legal side of their patents run. The country of origin is quite obvious for this company, I have no doubt that they would 'just do it' regardless. :cool:
 
B&H has this one listed for a while -
 
Looking forward to the reviews of this lens. If it's sharp wide open it would make a nice option.
