Visiting my daughter in Montgomery, AL last summer, she took me to her favorite coffee shop next to Lower Dexter Park. In the alleyway there is an amazing mural. This area is historic for the Civil Rights movement and for Rosa Parks' refusal to ride at the back of the bus.
I met the young man taking photos of the same mural and we talked for over half and hour. He was documenting the murals around Montgomery. So, I asked him to be in one of my photos.
