Many people fear spiders - period.
Many people fear the noble false widow spider even more so - at least in the UK. But despite looking similar to the more dangerous black widows, all these spiders are likely to do is give you a small and relatively harmless bite.
Steatoda nobilis is the Latin name for this one - and he lives on the fence just at the bottom of the garden.
I'm still getting to grips with the camera - currently shooting on a full manual LAOWA 60mm Ultra 2:1 macro lens, though I have the 85mm lens coming from my contact at LAOWA soon.
I'm fortunate to be an ambassador for the lens manufacturer, gives me the chance to try some of their glass.
